Withstanding Time

This was our last chance to paint in Provence before we caught the train back to Paris to fly home. We finally got the forecasted rain that hadn't shown up all week. Le Barroux is the nearest town to where we stayed at Château Juvenal. Its castle was built in the 12th century but went through much through the years. It's mind blowing to see a structure that has been around so long, still part of today's town.
